About · Los Angeles, CA

About Greg Wright.

Twenty years as a strategic leader. Most of that time in marketing and communications, in both corporate and non-profit work.

Background

The work I have done.

My career has moved through a few worlds. Industry side, I have led marketing for the Association of National Advertisers and the American Institute of CPAs, working with the kinds of stakeholders where strategy has to survive a long approval chain.

Volunteer side, I have served as Marketing Officer for American Mensa and led the North Hollywood West Neighborhood Council. Different audiences, same underlying question: how do you make communication actually move something.

Academic

Currently studying.

I am finishing a Doctorate of Business Administration. The program lets me dig into the parts of strategic leadership that most consultants gloss over.

Before this, an MBA in Marketing and a BA in Political Science and Geography.

Identity

Two things that shape how I work.

01

Neurodiversity

I am neurodiverse, and it shapes how I read rooms, build teams, and design the work I do with clients. It also informs how I think about the rooms I help leaders walk into.

02

Eunoia

The Greek concept of beautiful thinking. It is the thing I am trying to bring into client work, into teaching, and into the spaces I am part of.

I can help you build a place where neurodiverse and intellectually curious people get to do their best work. That is the consulting in a sentence.
