Privacy Policy

What the site collects

Contact form. Your name, email address, subject, and message. The form emails your message to my inbox, which is hosted by Gmail. The website keeps no copy.

Spam check. Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the contact form to tell people from bots. It reads signals from your browser and device; Cloudflare's privacy policy covers what it does with them. If my filter rejects a message as spam, the message and the sender's IP address go into a log on the server, which is cleared after 90 days.

Repeat-send limit. When you send the form, the server notes your IP address so the same address can't send again within 60 seconds. The note is deleted within a week.

Server logs. Every request records your IP address, browser, the page asked for, and the time. Logs are deleted after 14 days.

Cloudflare. All traffic to the site passes through Cloudflare, which filters out attacks and keeps its own logs.

Links out. Links to YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram are plain links. Nothing loads from those sites until you click one.

Visit counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and records the referring site, browser, device type, and country for each visit. It sets no cookies and doesn't identify you.

What the site doesn't do

It sets no cookies of its own and runs no ads or tracking pixels. I don't sell or share your information beyond the services named above.

Where the data is

The server is in Germany, run by Hetzner. Cloudflare and Google, which runs Gmail, are US companies and may process data in the United States.

Your rights

Email [email protected] to get a copy of what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. I reply within 30 days. If you live in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
